The end of the school year arrived so quickly!  Andrew and two other teachers’ kiddos decided to rap “This Is Indiana” for the school talent show.  They were super!  I was so proud of them.  Aidan also played the piano, but I didn’t get any still pictures of him.

Aidan has been taking art lessons and recently switched to a drawing class.  Of all the projects to pick, he chose do draw the Mona Lisa.  I was blown away by his final project!  He didn’t get this talent from me – pretty sure it must come from his great aunt Connie!

The last Mass of the school year was this week.  Generally, our 5th and 6th graders make up the choir, but for the end of the year an “honor choir” was chosen from those students who sang loudly and consistently all year.  No surprise that Andrew got to be part of the choir – and he was thrilled!

By some miracle, both boys had perfect attendance the ENTIRE school year.  We’ve had a fairly healthy year – only one ear infection (it was Andrew) and he felt okay enough to go to school anyway.  I had to document the awards with pictures because it may never happen again!

This weekend was Sophie’s dance recital.  Tony and the boys went camping with the cub scouts, so Sophie and I prepared Friday evening by curling her hair and having some girl time.

Here’s her hair right after I removed the sponge rollers: (note the adorable pillowcase dress I made!!)

And here she is all dolled up!
